Thanks to the Sources Academy, an initiative dedicated to ongoing training, teams benefit throughout the year from external training courses leading to certification, as well as tailor-made in-house sessions. This approach enables everyone to hone their skills and explore new learning opportunities, thereby contributing to their professional development. Everyone can be a trainer or a learner. It&#8217;s the perfect way to train the perfect dowsers of today and tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>The Sources Acad\u00e9mie also embodies a vision where technical skills blend harmoniously with the human qualities that are essential in the luxury professions. Alice and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Tourbier, founders of Les Sources, have established a corporate culture in which kindness, generosity and a sense of service are valued. Through this Academy, they offer employees the opportunity to develop these qualities, creating a harmonious and friendly working environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What motivated you to take this role for the 2023\/2024 season?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I believe that businesses are key to driving change. It\u2019s very encouraging to see a prestigious establishment like Les Sources de Caudalie taking steps to reduce its carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you do with the staff?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I engage with them during meetings, sharing my knowledge about the state of climate change and biodiversity, discussing what I&#8217;ve observed during my reports, and focusing on issues relevant to luxury hospitality. I then invite them to ask questions. It\u2019s always a pleasure to share my experiences with professionals and collaboratively identify actionable areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What kind of students are they?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The staff at Les Sources are very interested in environmental issues and eager to change, while being aware of the luxury hotel&#8217;s inherent impact. I support this kind of positive dynamic, especially when it resonates across the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What actions can be taken for more responsible travel?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, avoid flying. Personally, I haven\u2019t flown for vacations in five years; my last flight was to Iceland in 2019. Since then, I only choose destinations accessible by boat, rail, or road. However, flying doesn\u2019t have to mean abandoning eco-responsibility.
