Les Sources de Caudalie is proud to announce their European Ecolabel certification, fruit of twenty years&#8217; commitment to green tourism. The hotel is welcoming Hugo Cl\u00e9ment as the patron of its Sources Acad\u00e9mie, as a result of collective effort rooted in ongoing training.<\/p>\n<p>For the Tourbier couple &#8211; founders of the establishment &#8211; eco-responsibility is the primary value in their definition of travel. Alongside them, the entire Sources de Caudalie team is committed to sustainable tourism. Designed to promote products and services that embody environmental excellence with minimal impact, it serves as a symbol of distinction.<\/p>\n<p>It is awarded for a period of two years, renewable through a new audit. All waste is sorted and recycled and undergoes a precise tracking procedure monthly to align with reduction targets.<\/p>\n<p>In the hotel&#8217;s restaurants, the focus is on showcasing produce from the in-house garden. What is not cultivated on-site using permaculture principles is sourced primarily from Nouvelle Aquitaine. The hotel&#8217;s Michelin-starred restaurant offers only one meat dish with controlled portion sizes, all aimed at minimizing its impact.<\/p>\n<p>In guest rooms, various eco-friendly measures have been implemented. Shower products have been redesigned to be offered in larger, recyclable containers. These cosmetics, made in France, have a minimum of 95% natural ingredients. Disposable amenities have been replaced with reusable items. Single-use water bottles have been swapped for on-site filtered water presented in sterilized, reusable glass bottles.
