From 10 October to 1 November 2026, the estate undergoes a seasonal transformation, with more than 20,000 ornamental gourds and pumpkins adorning the dining room and gardens, alongside 4,000 chrysanthemums. This spectacular autumn display delights visitors of all ages. A treasure hunt is also organised for children during the autumn half-term holidays.
Throughout the year, the exhibition The Secrets of Marlinspike Hall invites visitors to step into the world of Tintin. Did you know that Hergé drew inspiration directly from Château de Cheverny when creating the famous Marlinspike Hall? An unmissable experience for Tintin enthusiasts.

Just a 20-minute drive away, Chambord offers a fascinating journey into the history of King Francis I.
From 18 October to 2 November, the new equestrian show, Chambord, History on Horseback, brings the Renaissance to life in the Marshal of Saxony’s stables, with horses and birds of prey transporting audiences back in time.

Royal Château of Blois: A Magical Sound and Light Show
During the autumn half-term holidays, from 17 to 31 October 2026, a spectacular sound and light show transforms the courtyard of the Royal Château of Blois into an extraordinary open-air theatre.
The château’s façades come alive with spectacular projections recounting five centuries of history, from the arrival of Louis XII to the assassination of the Duke of Guise, including the glorious reign of Francis I.
Music, visual effects and the voices of renowned actors create an immersive atmosphere that captivates adults and children alike. An original and enchanting way to discover the history of the Loire Valley after nightfall.
Le Clos Lucé: Following in the Footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci
In Amboise, Le Clos Lucé invites visitors of all ages to explore the fascinating world of Leonardo da Vinci, who spent the final years of his life here.
The galleries showcase his paintings, sketches and models, while the grounds bring his inventions to life through full-scale recreations, offering an experience that is both entertaining and educational.

ZooParc de Beauval
Just a 30-minute drive from Les Sources de Cheverny, ZooParc de Beauval is one of the Loire Valley’s greatest attractions and ranks among the world’s most beautiful zoos.
With its giant pandas, koalas, lions and vast tropical greenhouse, the park offers wonderful discoveries at every turn.
