Hotel services and facilities

Is there a spa at Les Sources de Caudalie?

The Vinothérapie Caudalie Spa is open on Mondays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We have an outdoor heated pool, a hammam, a thermal bath, and a jacuzzi.

Spa facilities are available with a treatment reservation only, with treatments offered from the age of 16. The spa is also accessible to external guests.

Our outdoor heated pool is open from April to October, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The outdoor hot tub is open year-round from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Do you have a restaurant?

We have 3 restaurants:

  • The gastronomic restaurant La Grand’Vigne (2 Michelin stars), led by Chef Nicolas Masse, welcomes you from Wednesday to Friday from 7:30 pm to 9:15 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm and 7:30 pm to 9:15 pm.

 

  • A true country inn with a bistronomic menu, the restaurant La Table du Lavoir offers gourmet and classic cuisine to be enjoyed under the wooden arches of the former cellars or on the terrace overlooking the vines (during the summer). La Table du Lavoir is open every day, Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, as well as Friday and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 10:15 pm.

 

  • ROUGE, the gourmet grocery store and wine bar, welcomes you every day from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (with kitchen service from 12:00 pm to 5:15 pm), and on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm (with kitchen service from 12:00 pm to 9:15 pm).

 

The outdoor terrace is open throughout the summer. We do not take reservations for the ROUGE restaurant.

Is there a pool at Les Sources de Caudalie?

Housed in a magnificent greenhouse, you will have the unique opportunity to dive into a work of art by Mathilde de L’Ecotais: vine leaves echoing the incredible natural environment of Les Sources de Caudalie.

Do you offer day packages?

Our restaurants are open to external guests:

  • La Grand’Vigne (by reservation)
  • La Table du Lavoir (by reservation)
  • ROUGE (not available for reservation)

 

The Vinothérapie Spa is open to external guests.

Practical information

Are pets (dogs or cats) allowed?

Pets are welcome at Les Sources de Caudalie and La Chartreuse du Thil, with an additional charge of €30 per day per pet. 

However, please inform our team when making your reservation.

Please note that pets must be kept on a leash and are not allowed near our pools, at the Vinothérapie spa, or in the Michelin-starred restaurant La Grand’Vigne.

What is the price of breakfast?

If breakfast is not included in your reservation, it will be charged €35 per person per day.

Our breakfasts are served as follows:

  • Enjoy our breakfast buffet every morning from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at La Grand’Vigne, and discover the carefully prepared and selected products by our Chef.

 

  • For those who prefer breakfast in bed, try our “Vigneron” breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:30 am! Our team is available to deliver your gourmet basket, made up of fresh, delicious products carefully selected by our Chef.

 

On the menu: a hot drink, freshly squeezed fruit juice, warm pastries and breads with butter and delicious jams and honey, a fresh seasonal fruit salad to boost your vitamins, a dairy product from our region, and finally, poached eggs, smoked Pyrenean trout, and cream spinach (or scrambled eggs).

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is available from 3:30 pm, and rooms must be vacated by 12:00 pm at the end of your stay.

We do not offer early check-in or late check-out.

What payment methods are accepted?

Depending on the rate you choose, payment will either be made at the time of booking or at check-out.

At check-in, you will need to provide a valid credit card and an ID. If you have difficulty making your reservation, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Cash payments are accepted at the reception.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. If you do not have a credit card, please contact us.

Is there parking at Les Sources de Caudalie?

We offer a free parking at the hotel, including four electric vehicle charging stations. To make your arrival easier, a free 24/7 valet service is at your disposal.

A secured private parking or bicycle parking is also available for €40 per day.

How to get to the hotel from the airport or train station?

The hotel is located 20 minutes by car from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport and Bordeaux Saint-Jean Train Station.

The hotel is not accessible by public transport. Our team is available to assist with booking a taxi for your transport.

Please note that these transfers are not included in the price of your stay.

Access

What is the price of an extra bed or baby cot?

For bookings with 3 adults or more, an additional bed is required, charged at €50 per person per night for Prestige Rooms, Junior Suites, Prestige Suites, Signature Suites, and the Au Coeur des Sources apartment.

It is possible to set up a baby cot for €20 per night (for babies aged 0 to 2 years) and an extra bed (for children aged 2 to 12 years) for €50 per child per night in Prestige Rooms or Suites.

Where are Les Sources de Caudalie located?

Les Sources de Caudalie are located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, in Martillac, just south of Bordeaux. The property is set within the grounds of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, renowned for its classified growth wines.

Which vineyards can be discovered around the hotel?

From Les Sources de Caudalie, you have direct access to some of Bordeaux’s most prestigious vineyards. The Pessac-Léognan appellation, which surrounds the hotel, is home to many exceptional estates. Within a short distance, you can also explore the vineyards of the Médoc, Saint-Émilion and the Graves region.

Can guests visit Château Smith Haut Lafitte?

Yes, Château Smith Haut Lafitte, located just a short walk from the hotel, offers guided tours of its cellars along with wine tastings. This Classified Growth of Graves provides a complete immersion into the world of Bordeaux’s great wines, combining tradition with innovation.

What makes the Pessac-Léognan vineyard unique?

The Pessac-Léognan vineyard is one of the oldest in Bordeaux. It is distinguished by its production of both red and dry white wines, known for their elegance, complexity and ageing potential. Yes, Bordeaux is just 20 minutes from the hotel. You can easily reach the city centre to explore its UNESCO-listed heritage, lively riverfront, museums and numerous gastronomic addresses.

When is the best time to visit the Bordeaux vineyards?

Each season offers a different experience. Spring and summer reveal lush green vineyards, while autumn, during the harvest season, is particularly spectacular. Winter, being quieter, is ideal for more intimate visits and private tastings.
